The canvas piece "Henna" is a combination of acrylic and charcoal. It captivates with its color palette of beige, shades of blue, and delicate rose hues. The various layers and overlays create a play of transparencies, allowing the henna patterns to shine through repeatedly. This work was inspired by the intricate henna designs that women create at the market in Port Louis, Mauritius.
