Data Storage - Online Shop
We point out that for the purpose of a simpler shopping process and for later contract processing, the web shop operator stores the IP data of the connection owner as part of cookies, as well as the name and address of the buyer. Additionally, for contract processing, we store the following data: [Title, Salutation, First Name, Last Name, Delivery Address, Billing Address, Email, Phone]. The data you provide is necessary for contract fulfillment or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data is not transmitted to third parties, except for the transmission of credit card data to the processing banking institutions/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company/shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods, and to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations.
After the shopping process is aborted, the data stored by us is deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship is stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years).
The data name, address, purchased goods, and purchase date are stored beyond that until the end of product liability (10 years). Data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for contract fulfillment) of the GDPR.
