... a joint journey

For me, a commission is not a typical order.

It is a personal process between two people – built on trust, time, and genuine attention.

The focus is not on the finished painting, but on the journey to get there.

Getting to know each other personally

We don't start with a motif – but with you.

If you are interested in a commission, it all begins with a detailed conversation.

I would be delighted to visit you at your home for this purpose.

Not to document anything – but to get a feel for the environment you live in, the atmosphere that surrounds you, and the space your future artwork will occupy.

Rooms often reveal more about a person than words.

If a personal meeting is not possible due to distance, we can get to know each other through an intensive online conversation. Here too, I deliberately take my time to truly listen and understand your story.

Your story as a starting point

I don't paint motifs. I translate memories.

Your commission can take many forms.

Perhaps it's a favorite place.

Perhaps a memory of a specific moment.

Perhaps a feeling you want to capture.

If it is a real place, I can incorporate elements of it into the work – not as an illustration, but as recognition in my abstract visual language.

I do not work from photos.

Everything begins with your narrative.

Not every story becomes a work of art.

It's important for me to remain authentic in my artistic work.

Not every inquiry automatically becomes an assignment.

I need to connect with a story – it needs to resonate with me, to trigger something within me, so that I can translate it into my own visual language.

This decision is part of the process.

If it's a good fit for both sides, it leads to a very intense and trusting collaboration.

The artistic process

Layer by layer, meaning emerges.

My works are created on several intuitive levels.

The first layer lays the emotional foundation of the painting.

Further layers are built upon this – some visible, others partially hidden again.

This creates a living work in which history, feeling, and memory overlap.

Nothing is fully controlled.

Everything develops organically.

And it is precisely this that creates depth.

The finished work. An original that exists only for you.

In the end, no "product" is created.

But rather a work that emerged from your story and my interpretation.

A unique piece that will not be reproduced and has only one origin: our collaboration.

Your Questions

How does a commission work?

Every commission begins with a personal consultation. This is followed by an individual artistic process from which your artwork grows step by step.

Do I have to provide a photo?

No.

Your story and our conversation are the foundation of my work. Photos can be supplementary, but are not necessary.

How long does a work take?

Depending on the size and complexity, the process usually takes several weeks. I consciously take my time with each piece of work.

Can I influence the outcome?

The creative process remains artistically free, but throughout our collaboration, there will always be discussions and consultations that accompany the work's journey.

Why don't you accept every request?

Because every work needs a genuine connection. I only work on stories that inspire me and in which I see artistic potential.

How can I request a commission?

Via the contact form or by direct inquiry. Afterwards, we will arrange an initial meeting.

Then I look forward to getting to know you.

Not as a client.

But as part of a shared process.
