Ground III from the series Ground unfolds a multifaceted pictorial space between grounding and organic movement. In a harmonious yet vibrant world of colors consisting of dark brown, various shades of green, beige, white, and delicate rosy tones, an atmosphere is created that is reminiscent of natural growth and transformation processes.
The color fields appear like lived matter – dense, grown, and permeated by inner layers. Over them lie intuitive, fine lines that move freely across the surface and do not seek a fixed order. They evoke structures of bark, branching, or the silent traces of time that inscribe themselves in nature.
Between condensation and dissolution, a vibrant rhythm emerges that permeates the work. Nothing appears static; everything seems to be in a quiet state of becoming and passing away.
Ground III invites viewers to experience the connection to nature not only visually but also emotionally – as a reminder of rootedness, growth, and the quiet power of organic structures that underlie all living things.
