Teatime unfolds a quiet pictorial space of mindfulness and contemplation. Soft pastel tones in green, rosé, beige, and light nuances create an atmosphere of lightness and tranquility, reminiscent of a moment of conscious retreat.
The work refers to the significance of ritual and time – to those moments when the everyday temporarily recedes into the background, and space emerges for presence, perception, and inner reflection. Inspired by the idea of tea culture and the quiet quality of a tea ceremony, the painting invites viewers to rediscover slowness as a value.
In its serene radiance, Teatime acts as a silent place of contemplation. It opens a space where thoughts can settle, and small gestures of attention gain significance.
The work speaks less about action and more about state – about conscious being in the moment and the silent power found in simplicity.
